Works as it should

It definitely charges the battery but not as fast or efficiently as the original. If you charge the battery to full, pull it off the charger and put it back on, it goes back to charging and will charge for another hour or so. Mine lives in my truck all year so in the winter it draws a bit from the battery but not too bad. Would purchase again if I needed to.

Kenwood TK-280 Single Bay In-Vehicle Rapid Charger

We switched to lithium batteries and needed a tri-chemistry charger. These chargers have worked out great for our needs in the forest service.
